I in the Sukkah

I

in the Sukkah

body circumscribing soul

a temporary shelter

on good days happy here

labor good

and fruit delicious

but when rain gets in

peeking through the veil

of leafy branches

to beyond

not content just being

rooted to the floor

to be weightless

in some space-booth

able to float up at will

to push off earth

and feel the sky

of

I

in the Sukkah

body circumscribing soul
