The Artist Prayer: A Blessing for Bezalel

Artisan.
We need your art.
And your shadow.
And your unknowing.
And your hands to rebuild the tabernacle.
We do not need a structure of jewels and ornaments.
Or liberators that come to us by noble or anointed births.
We just need the wisdom that rebuffs prophets.
And a movable place so flexible and centered it fills the wilderness with G-d’s glory.
Holding us in motion and widening our souls to the expanse of the heavens above and our limitless imagination below.
We need a new blessing.
A blessing for Bezalel.
And even more, Artist?
We need the blessing of you.
