Meditation on the Anniversary of Sandy Hook

verse twenty-six of the torah tells us that we are made in the image of g-d.

and yet, twenty-six lives were stolen by another human being in the morning hours at sandy hook elementary.

whether in world or text, we are faced with opposites that hold the world as is

and the gravity of a moral centre that pulls us toward what it ought to be.

no matter the crossroads, life is the answer.

no matter the confusion, life is the answer.

no matter the question, life is the answer.

and no matter the season, life is always the answer.

we are bound to a circle that calls us back to ourselves and back to the One Who Will Be as we will be.
