Tree Of Life Votive Candle Setting for Yahrzeit, Healing, or other ritual occasions
CHAIM – “Life,” is a double plural Hebrew word implying a co-occurring visible and an invisible life, be that internal and external or this apparent life and a life beyond. The Tree of Life becomes a fitting symbol for connecting with the life of someone beloved who is no longer accessible in the visible world.
This Tree of Life votive candle setting in the form of a flame is formed from copper and cedar. Each setting is handcrafted per order. Please allow two weeks from time of purchase for creation and shipping.
In addition to the acid etched Tree of Life symbol, this candle setting can be personalized with an optional single line of Hebrew text etched beneath the tree consisting of up to two Hebrew words. Here are some examples: L'Chaim, Zichrono or Zichrona L'Vracha, Rifuah Shleima, Shalom U'mivorach, Miriam Leah...
After the back plate has been acid-etched with the tree and optional text, the raised pattern is polished and a translucent ink is applied to the etched background in your choice of inked color: Emerald, Sapphire, Turquoise, Topaz Blue, or Carnelian. The copper is then lacquered with a clear gloss to minimize oxidation and create a shiny surface that reflects the candle's glow. The cedar platform is given a copper glazing and a clear coating. The copper back plate is then attached to the cedar platform with copper nails and a protective cork 3" disk for your candle is placed in the center and a felt pad is applied to the bottom and the setting is prepared for shipment.
This setting is ~6.5" high, 4.5" wide and 3.5" deep. Please note that no votive candle is included.
