Jewish Healing Flags

Judaism has an ancient and strong custom of praying for people who are ill or injured; we include a communal Mi Shebeirakh prayer at Torah services. In recent years, a variety of healing prayers and songs have been composed; one of these, “Ana El Na Refah Na La,” is based on Moses’ spontaneous cry for his sister, Miriam: “El na, refa na la” – “Please Gd, heal her,” which is featured on the middle flag.

This unique set is composed of 5 individual flags, including the traditional El Na Refah Na La prayer, and evokes healing for body, mind, heart, and soul.
