Feel the God(dess) that surrounds you, in the waters, and befriend it. Submerge and feel it fill you. See how the God(dess) that surrounds you and fills you are one – declare God's unity (Sh'ma Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad is one formula for this). Keep this sense of "oneness" with you as you submerge and rise three times, always remembering that three is the number of synthesis. See how all the apparent opposites, difference, contradictions dissolve in the knowledge of this oneness. Know that by staying centered on the oneness all duality evaporates – apply this to your situation and see that for every "either/or" there is always another alternative. Keep this feeling with you as you open your eyes and become aware of yourself as a body, still part of the waters but unique and individual. Know your own beauty, strength and direction. Now focus on each individual part of yourself – toes, feet, ankles, calves, legs, thighs, genitals, abdomen, diaphragm, breasts, arms, hands, fingers, shoulders, neck, mouth, nose, ears, cheeks, eyes, ears, forehead, head, hair. Feel each as separate, still part of the whole body, but now listen to what each part needs from the waters. Gently heal each portion of the body by allowing the waters to penetrate – surrounding each separate section. When you are sure that each part of your body has been attended to, submerge totally for a fourth time knowing that the number four is the number of building. Build your holy temple, your body, so that it becomes a true vessel of God(dess).
