Etiquette

Family and friends, Jewish and non-Jewish, are typically invited to a babynaming. It is customary to say “Mazel Tov!” or “Congratulations!” to the parents upon arrival. Guests usually bring a gift for the baby. It is also nice to make a donation in the baby’s honor to a charitable cause.
